Fairline Yachts

Fairline Yachts is a British manufacturer of luxury motor yachts started in 1963 by Jack Newington in Oundle, United Kingdom. The spirit of adventure drives everything Fairline does. Success, perfection, and the ultimate in luxurious experiences are all destinations they are heading for. And it has always been that way. Fairlines reputation for making class-leading, iconic hand-built motor yachts is world renowned.

HISTORY
In 1963, Jack Newington acquired an assortment of disused gravel pits by the River Nene, as well as the land between the main lake and the road. By cutting a route through from the lake to the river, and erecting workshops, offices, a chandlery shop and slipway, he transformed the area into Oundle Marina. The birth of Fairline was in 1967, the launch of the Fairline 19, the first Fairline to ever be built was that year. The river cruiser blended handcrafted techniques with the latest GRP boat construction practises of the time, and set the pace of the brand.
